Synopsis of research lines:
My main general research interests lie in applied optical imaging, with an emphasis biological microscopy. Specific interests are computational imaging, i.e. the joint design of physical optics and data post-processing, as well as applications of dynamic and programmable optical elements (spatial light modulators), such as aberration correction, pupil phase engineering and holography. Current projects investigate particular applications for localization and scanning microscopy.

Involvement in the project: 
Providing secondment and training in high-end optical microscopy and data processing.
